Kick Off at Edgarton

 

We took a trip to Edgarton Park on Monday for a tour led by Judi Freudenburg. Our visit kicked off our landscaping week as a way to introduce the interns to different varieties of ornamental plants and systems of gardening aesthetics. The tour included exploration of the greenhouses and community gardens with an ending visit to the chicken coop. Interns were free to explore and ask questions to Judi about anything that caught their eye. We debriefed the visit by discussing our observations and and pinpointing techniques we could bring back to our own gardens in Westville Manor.
